Every business name has a story — and for me, Halse is more than just a word. It’s a place that holds some of my happiest memories. For many years, my husband and I spent our summer holidays camping on Exmoor with our children. We always stayed at the same little campsite on a working farm — tucked away in the middle of nowhere. Surrounded by sweeping moorland, Exmoor ponies, red deer, buzzards soaring overhead, and sheep and cattle grazing on the moor, it was the perfect escape.
